2026 North Carolina Blackberry Festival

The 23rd annual North Carolina Blackberry Festival brings two days of food, music, and family fun to downtown Lenoir. Admission is entirely free. 

Festival Schedule

  • Friday, July 10: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 11: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Enjoy:

  • World’s Largest Patchwork Cobbler: Over 2,000 free servings served after Saturday’s parade.
  • Fresh Berries & Treats: Local cobbler, fresh fruit, and classic festival foods.
  • Hundreds of Vendors: Downtown streets filled with shopping and local crafts.
  • Live Entertainment: Continuous music performances throughout the weekend.

Family Activities & Contests

  • Blackberry Eating Contest: A messy, fun competition for bragging rights.
  • 5K Glow Run: A vibrant night run through the city.
  • Little Miss Blackberry: The festival’s signature youth pageant.
  • Kids Zone: Dedicated play area plus a Friday night kids’ party. [1]

The event is hosted by the Downtown Lenoir Development Alliance and stands as Caldwell County’s premier summer tradition.
